State Required Test (Five Tests)
•Language Arts Writing- Part I
Part II - Essay
•Language Arts Reading
•Social Studies
•Science
•Math Part I- (with calculator)
•Math Part II- (without calculator)
Scoring: The average of all 5 tests has to be 450 and a test cannot be below 410 (This rule also applies to the Actual GED Test)

•General Eligibility Requirements
üThe applicant has a KY address is 19.
üThe applicant has a KY address, is 16
a. Has been officially withdrawn from public/private school for 90 days as certified by the district or,
b. Receives a superintendent’s waiver of the 90 days for a postsecondary enrollment deadline of employment, medical reason, or family circumstances
**student must present proof of withdrawal on school form or letterhead at time of testing

ACTUAL GED TEST
5 Subject Areas, same as the OPT double the questions on the GED Test
•$50.00 Charge for entire test
•Student has to be here at 8:00 a.m., when the test begin no one is permitted in the testing area
•Photo ID is required (no exceptions)
•$25.00 charge for re-take of each test
