Beginning July 1, 2009, the GED testing fee will be increasing over a 3 year period.  If you have already began taking the steps to get your GED, now is the time to finish.

Until June 30, 2009, the test will be $40 for the entire test and $10 for each retake (a total of 5 tests are given)

Beginning July 1, 2009 is as follows:

• $50 for entire test and $25 for each retake (year one)
• $55 for entire test and $25 for each retake (year two)
• $60 for entire test and $30 for each retake (year three)
